AUTONOMOUS DESIGN
Auguste Carels is a designer exploring the intersection of minimalism, raw materiality, and structural openness. Currently studying Furniture & Design at KASK in Ghent, he creates furniture and objects that emphasize bold, exposed frameworks and honest construction. His work strips design down to its essence, balancing functionality with a strong sculptural presence. By playing with material contrasts and architectural forms, Auguste challenges conventional perceptions of space and structure.
